Speech Pathologists
ALYSSA FAIRCHILD
M.S., CCC-SLP
Alyssa Fairchild, M.S., CCC-SLP received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and her Master of Science degree from Baylor University. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. She is a certified provider for DIR Floortime and Hanen: More Than Words. Alyssa has received extended education in childhood apraxia of speech and has also attended the Advanced Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing training. Alyssa is LAMP trained and is Beckman Oral Motor Certified as well. She is also a member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) and has received extensive training in tethered oral tissues and treating tongue thrusts. Alyssa has earned four ASHA Awards for Continuing Education.
Alyssa has worked in a variety of settings including the local school district, a private school for children with language and learning differences, and a rehab hospital. She understands the impact speech disorders can create, not only for the child, but for the family as well. Alyssa founded her speech therapy practice in 2010 and has greatly enjoyed developing relationships with families and seeing each child improve in their ability to communicate.
ERIKA PRINGLE
M.S., CCC-SLP
Erika Pringle, M.S., CCC-SLP received her Bachelors of Science degree and Masters of Science degree from Alabama A&M University. She is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Erika enjoys working with children to help them accomplish their speech and language needs. Erika has taken the first level of DIR Floortime Training.
KIRBY GRIGSBY
M.S., CCC-SLP
Kirby Grigsby, M.S., CCC-SLP earned her Bachelor of Arts at Rhodes College and her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is licensed by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
Kirby has worked in a variety of settings including the local school district and a private school for children with language and learning differences. Kirby has received extended training in childhood apraxia of speech and has attended the Advanced Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing training. She has received specialty training in AAC devices as well through LAMP.
KATINA ARVIDSON
M.A., CCC-SLP
Katina Arvidson, M.A., CCC-SLP received her Bachelors of Arts degree and Masters of Arts degree from Indiana University. She is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Katina enjoys working with young children to strengthen their communication skills. Katina has received extended training in childhood apraxia of speech and has attended the Advanced Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing training.
RACHAEL BAETHGE
M.S., CCC-SLP
Rachael Baethge, M.S., CCC-SLP received her Bachelors of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Texas Christian University and her Masters of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. She is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
Rachael has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehab, private practice, and a private school for children with learning differences and developmental disorders. Rachael enjoys making every therapy session specifically unique to the child while helping them achieve the most success towards their functional communication goals.
Kirby Cosco
M.A., CCC-SLP
Kirby Cosco attended the University of Oklahoma where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where she graduated with a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. She has received additional training in treating tongue thrusts.
Kirby has worked in public schools and private clinics.

Julie Meyers
MA, CCC-SLP
Julie Meyers, M.A., CCC-SLP, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Baylor University in 1994 and her Master of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston. She holds her Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in Texas.
Julie has experience working in public schools and private clinic. She is an energetic and compassionate SLP experienced in early childhood and elementary articulation and language disorders, stuttering and developmental delays in students with Autism. She is passionate about helping children develop the necessary strategies and skills to advance their communication into all aspects of their lives (home, school, and relationships).
She looks forward to partnering with families to help their children be successful and meet their communication goals. In her free time, Julie enjoys playing tennis, going on spontaneous road trips with her husband, walking her dog Tucker, and visiting her two grown children.
Brittany Dobbs
MS, CCC-SLP
Brittany Dobbs, M.S., CCC-SLP received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of the Pacific in California. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing-
Brittany has experience working with children in a variety of settings, including schools and private practice. When she’s not in the clinic, Brittany homeschools her two children.
Courtney Hatten
MS, CCC-SLP
Courtney Hatten, M.S., CCC-SLP received her Bachelors of Art degree from Michigan State University and her Masters of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University. She is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and holds her Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Courtney has public school and private practice experience.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys working out at OrangeTheory Fitness and being her children’s biggest fans at their soccer, football and basketball games.
Carina Miner

Carina Miner, M.S., CCC-SLP graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Baylor University and earned her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
Carina has worked in a variety of settings including home health and a local school district at the EC/PK/K level.
Carina recognizes the importance of early intervention, collaboration with professionals and parents/family members and creating a variety of language opportunities to help facilitate your child’s speech and language development.

Stephanie was born and raised in Houston, Texas. In her free time, she is her daughter’s biggest cheerleader when she competes in volleyball and dance. Stephanie also enjoys watching baseball and football with her family.
Previously, she managed a therapy clinic with a strong focal point on pediatrics. Stephanie is extremely excited to work with an amazing team that puts kids first and work with the families at Katy Speech and Language.
