Katy Clinic
ALYSSA FAIRCHILD
M.S., CCC-SLP
Alyssa Fairchild, M.S., CCC-SLP, Owner and Founder. Alyssa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and her Master of Science degree from Baylor University. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. She is a certified provider for DIR Floortime and Hanen: More Than Words. Alyssa has received extended education in childhood apraxia of speech and has also attended the Advanced Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing training. Alyssa is LAMP trained and is Beckman Oral Motor Certified as well. She is also a member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) and has received extensive training in tethered oral tissues and treating tongue thrusts. Alyssa has earned four ASHA Awards for Continuing Education.
Alyssa has worked in a variety of settings including the local school district, a private school for children with language and learning differences, and a rehab hospital. She understands the impact communication and feeding disorders can create, not only for the child, but for the family as well. Alyssa founded her speech therapy practice in 2010 and has greatly enjoyed developing relationships with families and seeing each child improve in their ability to communicate.
KIRBY GRIGSBY

Kirby Grigsby, M.S., CCC-SLP earned her Bachelor of Arts at Rhodes College and her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is licensed by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
Kirby has worked in a variety of settings including the local school district and a private school for children with language and learning differences. Kirby has received extended training in childhood apraxia of speech and has attended the Advanced Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing training. She has received specialty training in AAC devices as well through LAMP.
KIRBY COSCO
M.A., CCC-SLP
Kirby Cosco attended the University of Oklahoma where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where she graduated with a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Kirby has received additional training in treating tongue thrusts, feeding therapy, and myofunctional therapy.

Courtney Hatten, M.S., CCC-SLP received her Bachelors of Art degree from Michigan State University and her Masters of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University. She is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and holds her Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Courtney has public school and private practice experience.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys working out at OrangeTheory Fitness and being her children’s biggest fans at their soccer, football and basketball games.
RHIANA SCHWARTZ
MS, CCC-SLP
Rhiana Schwartz, M.S., CCC-SLP received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State University and her Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
Rhiana is also a member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) and has received training additional training in feeding therapy, tongue thrusts, and orofacial myology. Rhiana has earned one ASHA Award for Continuing Education. She also worked in a local school district at the EC/PK/K level and a pediatric outpatient clinic. Rhiana enjoys building relationships with the children and families she works with and helping them meet their speech and language goals. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends.
KENDYLL MELTON
MS, CCC-SLP
Kendyll Melton, M.S. Ed., CCC-SLP is a Texas licensed Speech Language Pathologist and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Kendyll received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi, a Master of Science in Deaf Education and Early Oral Intervention from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Lamar University.
Most recently, Kendyll has used her background to work with children with hearing loss, and the early childhood intervention population. Kendyll genuinely enjoys all that she learns from each of the families she works with!
LAURA WEYER
MS, CCC-SLP
Laura Weyer, M.S, CCC-SLP is a Texas licensed Speech Language Pathologist and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Houston, and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Emerson College.
Laura has worked with pediatrics in a variety of settings, most recently in the schools. She has enjoyed working with students with Autism, as well as students with AAC devices. Laura enjoys learning more with each family she works with!

Danielle Ford MS, CCC-SLP, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders at The University of Arkansas and her Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology at Baylor University. She is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Danielle has worked in a variety of settings including public schools, private clinics, and private schools. She loves working in pediatrics and especially enjoys early intervention. Danielle recognizes the importance of using a child led approach and working alongside families to help each child meet their individual goals.
In her free time, Danielle enjoys traveling with her husband, going on walks with her Goldendoodle and going to new coffee shops with her friends.

Stephanie was born and raised in Houston, Texas. In her free time, she is her daughter’s biggest cheerleader when she competes in volleyball and dance. Stephanie also enjoys watching baseball and football with her family.
Previously, she managed a therapy clinic with a strong focal point on pediatrics. Stephanie is extremely excited to work with an amazing team that puts kids first and work with the families at Katy Speech and Language.

Katina Arvidson, M.A., CCC-SLP received her Bachelors of Arts degree and Masters of Arts degree from Indiana University. She is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Katina enjoys working with young children to strengthen their communication skills. Katina has completed training in Gestalt Language Processing, helping children to use their echolalia and scripted speech to acquire flexible language.
