Alyssa received her Bachelor of Arts and her Master of Science degree from Baylor University. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. She is a certified provider for DIR Floortime and Hanen: More Than Words. Alyssa has received extended education in childhood apraxia of speech and has also attended the Advanced Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing training. Alyssa is LAMP trained and is Beckman Oral Motor Certified as well. She has received extensive training in tethered oral tissues and treating tongue thrusts. Alyssa has earned four ASHA Awards for Continuing Education.

Alyssa has worked in a variety of settings including the local school district, a private school for children with language and learning differences, and a rehab hospital. She understands the impact communication and feeding disorders can create, not only for the child, but for the family as well.

Alyssa founded her speech therapy practice in 2010 and has greatly enjoyed developing relationships with families and seeing each child improve in their feeding and communication skills.

Kirby Higgins, M.S., CCC-SLP, CLC earned her Bachelor of Arts at Rhodes College and her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is licensed by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas.

Kirby has worked in a variety of settings including the local school district and a private school for children with language and learning differences. Kirby has received extended training in childhood apraxia of speech and has attended the Advanced Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing training. She has received specialty training in AAC devices as well through LAMP. Kirby is also a Certified Lactation Counselor.

Dr. Richa Deshmukh, CCC-SLP, received her Masters’ degree from University of Mysore, India and her PhD from the Ohio State University. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. Richa has over 10 years of clinical experience working with young children with a variety of communication disorders.

In the last 6 years her work has been mostly focused on children with Autism and other neuro-developmental disorders. Richa also has a background in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and is LAMP trained. She is passionate about providing young children the necessary tools to communicate effectively with their environment.

Richa also provides therapy in Hindi and Marathi.

Rhiana Bayne, M.S., CCC-SLP received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State University and her Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas.

Rhiana is also a member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) and has received additional training in feeding therapy, tongue thrusts, and orofacial myology. Rhiana has earned the ASHA Award for Continuing Education. She also worked in a local school district at the EC/PK/K level and a pediatric outpatient clinic. Rhiana enjoys building relationships with the children and families she works with and helping them meet their speech and language goals. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends.

Morgan Sztraky, M.S., CF-SLP, earned both her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Baylor University.

Morgan has clinical experience in pediatric clinics, social communication groups, NICU, and hospital settings, primarily supporting infants and children. She has worked with pediatric clients with a range of communication and feeding/swallowing needs, including articulation, expressive and receptive language, AAC, fluency, and social pragmatic skills. She also has experience in adult medical settings, contributing to a well-rounded clinical perspective.

Morgan is passionate about early language development, pediatric feeding, and working with children with autism spectrum disorder. She values strong family collaboration and individualized, evidence-based care to support meaningful progress and functional communication.

In her free time, Morgan enjoys walking, reading, and spending time with her family and her dog, Peanut.

Andrea Easley Cronin, M.A., SLP, earned her Master of Arts from The University of Houston. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist with over 23 years of experience helping children find their voice and thrive in communication. A native Houstonian, she offers families a personalized approach and guides parents in becoming confident advocates for their children.

Andrea specializes in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Articulation disorders. She also provides myofunctional therapy to support clear speech, healthy swallowing, and overall oral development.

Janet Dustin, MA CCC-SLP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado and her Master of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology for the University of Colorado-Boulder. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed to practice in the state of Texas.

Gianna Zenger, M.S., CF-SLP, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a specialization in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Texas at Austin. She then earned her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Baylor University.

Gianna is bilingual and has clinical experience providing therapy in English & Spanish across clinic, school, and skilled nursing facility settings. She also gained valuable experience working at private schools that emphasize language-rich, multi-sensory classroom environments for toddlers and school-aged children. Gianna has served a diverse pediatric & adult population with a wide range of communication disorders including articulation, language, AAC, pragmatics/social, cognition, fluency, & feeding.

She has received additional training in LSVT LOUD and the Hanen program. Gianna is passionate about working with the pediatric population and is deeply committed to delivering therapy that is evidence-based, client-centered, culturally mindful, and tailored to each child’s unique goals and needs.

Megan joins Katy Speech and Language after a 16-year career as a funeral director and manager. She has a passion for serving others and loves being able to work with children of all ages.

Megan and her husband, Steve, stay busy with two very active boys. She enjoys volunteering with their baseball teams and at their school, as well as cheering on the Astros and traveling as much as she can with her family. She is a member of one of Katy’s oldest families and takes pride in caring for those in her community.

Katina Arvidson, M.A., CCC-SLP received her Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Arts degree from Indiana University. She is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Katina enjoys working with young children to strengthen their communication skills. Katina has completed training in Gestalt Language Processing, helping children to use their echolalia and scripted speech to acquire flexible language.

Eailya has experience working in the local school district as well as in a community clinic setting, providing services to both children and adults. She has evaluated and treated a range of communication needs, including speech sound disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, pragmatic/social communication skills, and hearing loss.

Her clinical interests include early language development, autism spectrum disorders, and supporting clients in building functional communication skills across settings.

Eailya is passionate about creating individualized, meaningful therapy that helps clients connect more effectively with the world around them.

Hannah Tso, M.A. CF-SLP, earned both her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Houston.

Hannah has clinical experience in school and pediatric outpatient settings. She has evaluated and treated with pediatric clients with needs in articulation, expressive and receptive language, social pragmatic skills, fluency, AAC, aural rehabilitation, and cognition.

Hannah’s clinical interests include early language development, phonological awareness, and literacy. She is passionate about using evidence-based practice to support child-centered care.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family.

Jessie has been practicing in the public schools where fostering inclusion and empowering communication skills is her passion. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and learning new recipes.

Ashley joins Katy Speech and Language at the Richmond location and is committed to providing dependable, welcoming support to the families she serves. Born and raised in Houston and now living in Katy, she enjoys being involved in her community and spending time with her family. Outside of work, Ashley proudly holds the title of her daughter's #1 soccer fan.
